Teutonia Männerchor — Deutschtown, on the North Side
Oktoberfest is our annual client appreciation event. It’s one of the many ways we tell our clients we love them and appreciate them. We could not exist without our clients, and this night is about celebrating together.
Big news — this year we’re moving outside under the big tent to give you a true Oktoberfest feel. Everything you’ve come to love about our event is the same, just better. A few things to know: because we’re outdoors, we’ll have portable restrooms, and there’s a short series of steps from the parking lot down to the tent (our team will be there to lend a hand). Securing the tent also means more of yinz can join us — and our Oktoberfest fills up every year, so sign up fast and avoid the waiting list.
6:00 – 6:30 — Doors open, check in, find your table
6:30 – 6:45 — Opening ceremony and keg tapping
6:45 – 7:45 — Dinner buffet
8:15 – 8:30 — Stein holding contest
8:30 – 10:00 — Music, dancing, and celebrating
What if it rains?
We’re under a full tent, so rain is not a problem. If the weather turns severe, Teutonia opens the Sängerhalle, their singing hall, and we move everyone inside.
Is this an adults-only event?
It is, yes.
Can I bring a guest?
Yes. This is our client appreciation event, so it’s built around you. Some of you will want to bring a spouse and some a friend — either is welcome. Bring whoever you’d enjoy the night with. Just add them when you register so we have a seat and a stein ready.
Will there be food?
Teutonia’s famous traditional German buffet opens at 6:45, right after the opening ceremony — Wiener Schnitzel, Spätzle, and Rotkohl, plus the pretzels. It’s set up out in the beer garden, so head out of the tent and you’ll see the line.
Is there beer and wine?
There is. Each guest gets three drink tickets, good for beer or wine. We’re pouring Hacker-Pschorr — one of only six breweries in the world permitted to serve at the Oktoberfest in Munich — plus a red and a white. After your three tickets there’s a cash bar.
Where do I park?
There’s parking on site, and a short set of steps from the lot down to the tent. Our team will be at the top of the steps to help anyone who wants a hand. If the walk is difficult for you, tell us when you arrive and we’ll get you close.
Where are the restrooms?
Portable units on the grounds.
Can I go inside the building?
Teutonia is a members-only club, so we’ll all be out in the tent. Anything you need, one of our team will get for you.
What should I wear?
Wear whatever you want. Some people go all in on Trachten — the Lederhosen and dirndls you’ve seen — and some people come in a t-shirt. Either way, we’re glad you’re here.
Come celebrate with us. We just want to raise a glass with you. Prost!
